John Giles
A design and development engineer with 22 years of experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas Sector. In roles ranging from Project Engineer to Senior Design and Development Engineer working on projects as diverse as recovering the oil from a sunken upturned tanker in the Bay of Biscay to designing the remote tooling to align, mate and assemble pipeline flanges, in 3000m of seawater.
John holds a Bsc (Hons) and is a Chartered Engineer.

Offshore experience sailing as Master on Platform Supply Vessels, Diving Support Vessels and Master/OIM on Mobile Offshore Drilling Units. Providing QHSE support to multiple projects including asset development.
Hugh is a Master Mariner and has the additional qualification of Dip SM.
